DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE YOUR BATTERY!

Residents on the east side of Tonto Creek:

If flooding of Tonto Creek is an issue for residents of the east side, please call the Gila County Emergency Management Hotline at 1-928-402-8789 or 1-800-304-4452 ext. 8888. This number is periodically updated to give you information for any assistance you may need.

Prepare for Emergencies:
  • Be aware of upcoming weather changes. Check the Gun Creek flow gauge for flow data.
  • Keep in touch with your neighbors. It is important to check on them and knowing when anyone has special needs.
  • Stock up! You should have 5 to 7 days worth of supplies on hand for each family member, including food, water, and prescriptions.
  • If Tonto Creek flow is at life threatening levels DON’T TRY TO CROSS! Is not worth your life or anyone else’s to rescue you. If you have an emergency call 911!! We have personnel and a Station on the East side. GCSO and County can help as well. If no emergency please do not try to cross for any reason until the levels are safe.

Click here and be prepared by utilizing disaster preparedness information from Red Cross.
Please contact Tonto Basin Fire District if you have any questions.
